T6.2 – Design integration methods and develop prototype to utilize RTD results

In this task, we will design integrative components based on the results and algorithms of WP2 and WP3. Therefore, a component model will be realised that adapts solutions from the mentioned work packages to the travel use case. Fusing and interlinking components will use the transformed tourism data from Task 6 and integrate it with geospatial open linked data. In parallel, we will develop user-friendly and simple UI components for business intelligence interfaces as well as reporting views to visualize analysis results. This subtask builds on WP4 and adapts metaphors and concepts developed in that WP. Concretely, the usability and potential benefit for users provided by the integration of the map visualization of points-of-interests in conjunction with the widget for facet selection will be evaluated. Lightweight widgets that visualize data snippets, such as styled fact boxes about touristic locations are also in the scope of this task.

Deliverables

D6.2.1 Integration Component Model for the E-Commerce Use Case

Other Tasks in this Workpackage

T6.1 Customer data selection, retrieval and preparation
T6.3 Motive and topic-based Search Infrastructure and UI interfaces
T6.4 Evaluation and testing of the search prototype
